Development of Forensic Veterinary Pathology from Crime Scene to Court

The project aims to
– Develop and refine the handling of forensic cases in domestic animals and wildlife, from trace recovery and analysis to legal reports.
–Develop and implement methods of evidence evaluation based on the logical (Bayesian) approach.
–Develop a standard for veterinary expert statements well adapted to the Swedish legal system and the Swedish legislation.
– Increase the forensic awareness of the veterinary profession in Sweden.
